Policy
This policy explains how Chiron Software handles information across its apps, websites, and support channels. An individual app may provide supplemental privacy disclosures when its features or services require more detail. Those app-specific disclosures should be read together with this policy.
Information we may handle
The information involved depends on how you use a Chiron product. It may include:
- Information you voluntarily send, such as your email address, support message, screenshots, and other details you choose to provide.
- Diagnostic and technical information made available through Apple or a service used by a particular app, such as app version, device type, operating-system version, crash data, and performance data.
- Limited website request information that hosting and security providers ordinarily process to deliver a page, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time.
We do not ask you to include sensitive personal information in a support request.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate and improve Chiron products, answer support or business messages, diagnose problems, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. When an app needs more specific privacy information, those practices are described in the relevant app disclosure.
Third-party services
A Chiron app may rely on Apple platform services or other providers for functions such as distribution, purchases, hosting, crash reporting, or feature delivery. Those providers may process information under their own privacy terms. When an app uses a service that calls for a specific disclosure, that information will be provided in the app, its App Store listing, or a supplemental policy.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, to maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by information type and service.
Children's privacy
Chiron Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent or other safeguards required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a Chiron product or support channel, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Chiron Software adds products, changes services, or responds to legal requirements. The date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published. Material app-specific changes may also be communicated in the relevant app or store listing.
